The third chakra (Manipura)
The third chakra is also known as the belly button chakra and located near the belly button. It is seen as the energy reserve of the body and is fed by the fire of the solar plexus, сonnected with pancreatic. This chakra is the solar plexus chakra, which shows the way to success and awareness of our personal capabilities. Kundalini is in a battle with fears, negative thoughts and feelings of inferiority, which finally makes us stronger. By keeping our ideas up to the light, we make the way for professional success, a productive way of life and overcoming digestive complaints, nervousness and memory problems.
Gifts from the third chakra include acuteness and clairsentience, or the ability to sense others and the world in general. As Kundalini strengthens these capacities, we are better able to fulfill administrative and organizational tasks, and to use our intelligence and intuition for a higher purpose.
Properties: this chakra is responsible for the development of the personality. From here the conscious goals and changes are brought about by feelings and needs. This means that the Kundalini is set in motion from this area.
Physical effects: this chakra is responsible for all digestive organs. In addition, it strengthens the bones and muscles of the lower back. The vision is addressed by the belly button chakra.
Disorders:a blockage in this center manifests itself in bad functioning of the metabolism, for example diabetes. On the psychic level you feel dejected and listless. You are indecisive and afraid to fail. When the third chakra is in balance and harmonizes with the other chakras: if the navel center is well developed, you have self-respect, a good condition and resistance. You have enough perseverance to fulfill your life wishes.
This way you can strengthen the chakra!
Food selection: Energy is converted in the third chakra. It is therefore very important to keep the fire burning in this chakra. That goes out when we stuff ourselves with sugar, fizzy drink and artificial sweeteners. Increase your energy with complex carbohydrates, fibers and foods with a low glycemic index, such as wholemeal products, vegetables and yellow crops.
In everyday life: through deep abdominal breathing, short sunbathing, fire (fireplace, campfire, candles), sensitive music, yellow clothing, objects, flowers and interior.
Smell: lavender, chamomile, lemon, anise, grapefruit, fennel.
In the yoga: the singing of the open vowel O in every kriya is to stimulate, strengthen and distribute the energy of the navel center of central significance: especially through twist exercises, stretching positions and everything that has an effect on the abdominal organs.
