The forehead chakra is also called the 'third eye' and is located above the nose root between the eyebrows on the forehead, connected to Pituitary. The sixth chakra, the third eye, is the center of insight. Kundalini holds us a mirror in which we can clearly see ourselves. This brings to light the personal qualities that make us insecure and prevent us from seeing our true beauty. This view of ourselves brings us closer to our true personality, which broadens our horizons both literally and figuratively and can overcome learning disabilities, coordination problems, pituitary problems and hormonal complaints.

Gifts from the sixth chakra: can be summarized as 'clairvoyance'. An optimally functioning sixth chakra gives a clear view of the past (as if we look through God's eyes), on choices that we have to make in the present and on the future. Visualizing future possibilities allows us to realize them.

Properties: this chakra serves as a source of creativity and intuition and makes possible the reflection of the past and a vision of the future.

Physical effects: on the one hand, influences through the sixth chakra penetrate deep into the central nervous system, on the other hand the perception is refined and you can read 'between the lines'. By stimulating the pituitary gland, the metabolism of the body is brought into balance.

Disorders:blockades express themselves in the mood in unrest, fears and dips. On the physical level they cause headaches and migraine, problems with eyes and ears, chronic cold, diseases of the nervous system and bad concentration and learning ability. When the sixth chakra is in balance and harmonizes with the other chakras: if your forehead chakra is in balance, you have a good memory and a good concentration and imagination. You are goal-oriented and able to consciously manage your thoughts. You can rely on your intuition, be psychologically clear and have a lot of imagination. You understand what is not being said, but are still present and have an influence on a situation.

This way you can strengthen the chakra!

Food selection: this chakra lives on if we are guided by our intuition, instead of external influences or our intellect. Examples of foods that promote intuition and insight are herbal teas, blueberries and blackberries.

In everyday life: explaining dreams, reading fairy tales, imagining stories: blue clothes, objects, flowers and interiors.

Smell:jasmine, mint, lemongrass, violets, incense, basil.

In the yoga: singing the vowel: headstand, eye exercises, visualizing, meditation on the third eye, exercises with the forehead on the floor: pressing the nail of the big toe.
